The New Girls' Night Out

The New Girls' Night Out
Unique ways to have fun with your girlfriends
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
By Aviva Patz
It's easy to get stuck in a dinner-and-drinks rut with friends. Solution: Take a class!

Yoga: Whether you're a devotee or don't know Downward Dog from Scooby-Doo, a yoga class is a healthy change of pace. Go to yogaclasssearch.com to find one near you. (Prices range from $20 a class to $100 and up for a private group lesson.)

Knitting: Here's a hobby you and your friends can keep up after classes end — a great excuse to get together more often. Michaels stores offer classes, as do most local knitting shops. (Expect to pay $20 per person, plus the cost of supplies.)

Cooking: Pick up new tricks and enjoy a sumptuous meal without getting stuck doing dishes! Check out cookingschools.com for workshops at a local culinary institute. (About $75 and up per person.)
